How to Configure Calendar Settings in the Leave Tracker #
The Calendar Settings in the Leave Tracker allow you to define key parameters for your organization’s leave and attendance policies. Follow the steps below to configure the settings:

Access Calendar Settings
Go to the Leave Tracker Settings and select Calendar Settings.
Click on Add New to create a new calendar configuration.
Select Locations
Choose the Locations where these settings will apply. For example, if the settings are only for employees in the London branch, select London.
You can select multiple locations. If a required location isn’t available, create it directly from the list.
Define the Fiscal Year
Specify your organization’s Fiscal Year.
If your fiscal year matches the calendar year (January to December), enable the toggle. Otherwise, manually set your financial year.
For example, if your fiscal year runs from April to March, select this period. All financial-based calculations will use this range as one year.
Set the Leave Year
Define your organization’s Leave Year.
Enable the toggle if it aligns with the calendar year. Otherwise, enter your organization’s specific leave year range.
Configure Working Hours
Enter the Maximum Working Hours Per Day. For example, set 9 hours per day, or adjust based on your company policies.
Select the Week Starts On day. For example, choose Monday, or any day that aligns with your organization’s workweek.
Set Shift Timings
Define the Shift Start and End Time using the 24-hour format. For instance, set 09:00 (9 AM) as the start time and 18:00 (6 PM) as the end time.
The Shift Duration will be automatically calculated.
Define Minimum Hours for Attendance
Set the Minimum Hours Required for a Full Day and a Half Day, along with their tolerances. For example:
Full Day Minimum: 8 hours.
Full Day Tolerance: 30 minutes.
Half Day Minimum: 5 hours.
Half Day Tolerance: 10 minutes.
Employees must meet these minimum hour requirements to be marked present for a full or half day.
Configure Weekend Definition
Select the days to mark as weekends. For example, choose Saturdays and Sundays, or configure based on your organization’s policies:
All Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays.
Alternate days or any other combination.
Save Your Settings
Once all settings are configured, click Save to finalize the calendar configuration.
If you need to create additional configurations, click Save and New.
To discard any changes, click Cancel Changes.
